Audit and Accounts Senior

We are working with a top accountancy firm in the UK, expanding across Central and Southern England, to find an experienced Audit Senior or Audit Semi Senior to join their Oxford Accounts team.
This is a permanent, full-time role offering hybrid and flexible working options. As an Audit Senior, you will lead a variety of complex audit assignments, liaising with managers and partners when required. Your responsibilities will include preparing audit files, undertaking audit planning, and leading/assisting with fieldwork. You will also assist in work allocation, supervise junior team members, and ensure audit assignments are completed to a high standard, in time and within budgets agreed with Directors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead complex audit assignments, liaising with managers and partners as needed.
- Prepare audit files, undertake audit planning, and lead/assist with fieldwork.
- Assist in work allocation and supervise junior team members.
- Ensure audit assignments are completed to a high standard, in time and within budgets.
- Use accounting software to provide accurate reporting for Managers, Directors, and clients.
- Prepare statutory accounts and finalise accounts under the supervision of your Line Manager.
- Prepare corporation tax computations.
- Build productive working relationships within the firm and with clients as required.
- Develop and apply technical knowledge through on-the-job training.
