Key Responsibilities- Implementing Road Safety Initiatives: Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures to minimize work-related injuries and promote road safety awareness.
- Collaborating with Stakeholders: Work closely with schools, local councils, and strategic partners to promote road safety best practices and develop strong partnerships for targeted road casualty reduction.
- Developing Educational Materials: Contribute to the development of educational materials, including literature and promotional aids, to support road safety campaigns and initiatives.
- Providing Expert Witness Services: Act as an expert witness at Crown Court, Public Inquiries, and Hearings as required, preparing detailed evidence and liaising with Counsel and Solicitors.
- Education and Qualifications: Educated to RQF Level 3 ('A' level) or equivalent by experience in Highways, with evidence of continuing professional development and knowledge in relevant professional areas.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge and application of Highway and Health and Safety legislation, including Construction (Design and Management) regulations, and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with key people both internally and externally.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective internal and external working relationships.
