Cyber Security Operations - Assistant Manager
KPMG is a prominent name in the realm of cyber security consultancy, recognized for its excellence by Forrester. As we broaden our cyber consulting team, we aim to address the growing demand for our services among leading global organizations. Our mission is to empower clients to safeguard against cyber threats, make strategic investment choices, and cultivate specialized skills to tackle financial crime and associated risks.
Our methodology in cyber security emphasizes the importance of enabling clients to securely capitalize on business prospects. We perceive cyber security as a comprehensive business challenge that necessitates an in-depth understanding and a robust risk management strategy.
In this position, you will serve as a consultant within our Security Operations practice, working alongside KPMG's advisory team to harmonize cyber security with privacy, fraud prevention, risk management, operational resilience, and IT transformation. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance on Security Operations Strategy, Design, Maturity Assessment, Artificial Intelligence, and the latest advancements in Security Operations Center (SOC) and Optimization.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience in a Security Operations Centre or advisory capacity related to Security Operations
- Operational proficiency in security domains including incident response, security automation, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms, security tools, and foundational knowledge of network and cloud security
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts within a business framework and strong report writing capabilities
- Project management experience in cyber security transformation initiatives
- Relevant certifications in Information Security, Computer Science, or similar fields
- Preferred certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent
