Senior Children's Care Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Manager to lead and manage the daily operations of our children's residential care home. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care are maintained, promoting the well-being and development of each child.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring it functions in line with current legislation, regulatory frameworks, and the home's Statement of Purpose.
- Strive for excellence by working towards achieving a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' rating from Ofsted.
- Lead and support the staff team, providing regular supervision, monitoring staff performance, and arranging necessary training.
- Stay fully informed of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, safeguarding practices, the Children Act, and other relevant legal and organisational policies.
- Address and rectify any issues raised in inspection reports and Regulation 44 reports within the specified timeframes.
- Prepare detailed written reports for various reviews, case conferences, and meetings. Ensure that agreed actions from these meetings are implemented accordingly.
- Provide strong leadership and direction for the residential home and its staff.
- Take charge of recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members.
- Safeguard and promote the well-being of children and young people in your care.
- Maintain exceptional standards of care, addressing the physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs of the residents at all times.
- Cultivate a supportive and nurturing environment where each young person's unique needs are understood and met.
- Promote the holistic development of young people, ensuring their educational, physical, and emotional well-being is supported.
- A valid driving license is preferred.
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, daytime hours.
