Role Overview

As a Manufacturing Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and guidance for your designated Value Stream. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance the overall performance of the value stream, focusing on key areas such as Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing processes to meet customer expectations and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the value stream to achieve targeted levels of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth by engaging all team members in performance improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS Manual requirements and manage Health, Safety, and Environmental aspects within the value stream.
  • Oversee the execution of production plans and maintain visual controls to accurately reflect performance metrics and issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and quality, to fulfill customer requirements effectively.
  • Participate in the SIOP process to determine production rates and labor needs based on customer demand.
  • Monitor and enhance KPI metrics for the value stream, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Develop and mentor team members, driving personal and professional growth within the organization.

Qualifications

  • HND or Degree in Mechanical, Production, Electronic, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing management role.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
  • Experience with APQP Core Tools and knowledge of SAP.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
