We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as a Strategic Asset Management Leader. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our investment programme and ensuring the effective management of our £20 million annual investment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Set the vision and strategic direction for asset investment delivery, aligning with our corporate goals and Asset Investment Strategy.
  • Team Management: Lead, manage, and inspire a team of Project Managers, Commercial Managers, and others to deliver high-quality, compliant programmes that meet performance standards.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure all projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in compliance with CDM regulations, statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance of the investment programme, ensuring budgets are set, monitored, and met, with proactive risk management and accurate forecasting.
  • Procurement and Contract Management: Collaborate with the Procurement Team to develop and implement strategies that maximise social value and ensure value for money from contractors.
  • Customer Focus: Set and monitor customer service standards, ensuring all work is aligned with customer needs and expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to improve asset data management, procurement practices, and overall programme delivery to support our long-term strategy.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in delivering asset investment strategies within the housing sector.
  • Strong financial management and project/programme performance monitoring skills.
  • Deep understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and health and safety regulations in construction.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and improving community outcomes.
