Role Overview
As a Manufacturing Manager, you will be at the forefront of our production processes, providing strategic leadership and direction to the assigned Value Stream. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance the overall performance of the value stream in terms of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth. You will play a crucial role in optimizing processes to meet the demands of our customers and the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the value stream to achieve targeted levels of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth by engaging all team members in performance improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with the EHS Manual and manage all Health, Safety, and Environmental aspects within the value stream.
- Oversee the execution of production plans, maintaining visual controls to accurately reflect performance metrics and address key issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and quality, to meet customer expectations effectively.
- Participate in the SIOP process to determine production rates and labor requirements based on customer demand.
- Monitor and enhance KPI metrics for the value stream, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Kaizen.
- Manage and develop the Value Stream team, addressing any disciplinary matters as necessary.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Production, Electronic, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing management role.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with APQP core tools and knowledge of SAP.
- Proficient in CAD and basic measuring tools.
- Strong digital skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
