About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Change and Release Analyst to join our team at Newcastle Building Society. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth transition of software changes between development, test, and live environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the safe transition of software changes, acting as an escalation point when dealing with expectations.
  • Facilitate and plan for the implementation of change and release, utilizing the expertise of agile and traditional technical teams.
  • Manage risk with the right controls to minimize disruptions to services while enabling change.
About You

You will have previous experience working with Change & Release, ensuring IT Change and Release management practices are followed. You should be able to absorb and understand complex technical environments and take ownership of technical deployment activities.

A strong background in innovation and improvement, with a keen desire to drive transformation and maturity within the function, is essential. You should be able to adapt your communication style to meet the needs of the audience and effectively negotiate conflicts in approaches between teams.
