Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our Property Department, Estates Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory, safety, and environmental requirements, while providing cost-effective maintenance and minor work services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the Estates Manager and senior managers on operational matters, managing subordinate staff to deliver high-quality maintenance services.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and environmental standards, policies, and procedures.
- Deputise for the Assistant Estates Manager or Estates Manager as required.
- Install, repair, and maintain healthcare built environment and building services plant and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Participate in an on-call rota and travel between NHS sites as necessary.
Requirements:
- Ability to achieve mandatory Inductions standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland.
- Compliance with the Code of Conduct throughout employment.
Working Arrangements:
37 hours per week, with the possibility of working up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period.
