Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our Advisory Services Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' products comply with all relevant EU and UK legislation, codes of practice, and industry guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and check product packaging copy to ensure compliance with EU and UK legislation, codes of practice, and industry guidelines.
  • Review and approve product specifications to ensure they meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, design agencies, and print houses to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Attend internal and external meetings to discuss regulatory matters and provide expert advice.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, codes of practice, industry guidelines, news, and trends within the food and consumer products industry.

Requirements

  • Qualified to degree level or have extensive experience in a Regulatory Affairs or Product Quality role.
  • Conversant with UK and EU consumer protection legislation.
  • Ability to interpret and apply retailer corporate policy and UK/EU legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
