About the Role:
GMA Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Claims Technician to join our team. As a Senior Claims Technician, you will be responsible for handling complex Property claims, such as fires or floods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pro-active management of a portfolio of claims with a potential of £500K+ from notification through to settlement.
- Delivering excellent customer service whilst maintaining accurate estimating and controlling indemnity spend.
- Sharing your knowledge and supporting the development of others in your team and in the wider claims community.
- Building excellent working relationships with Loss Adjusters and other suppliers.
- Regular communication with policyholders and their representatives and underwriting colleagues.
Requirements:
- You will have extensive experience in handling high value and complex commercial property claims, with a settlement of at least £500k.
- You will be educated to A-Level or degree standard, or have an equivalent professional qualification (ACII/FCII/CILA).
- An inspiring leader with empathy and flexibility of approach to achieve effective outcomes.
- Able to deliver exceptional service to your customers.
- Developed communication and interpersonal skills and influencing and negotiating skills.
