Senior Claims Executive Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Claims Executive to join our UK Specialty business in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling claims from inception to resolution, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and that our claims are administered in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create comprehensive claims documents and manage client claims and settlements.
  • Present claims to underwriters, addressing queries, providing feedback, and responding to clients, insurers, and internal departments.
  • Review and prepare correspondence regarding notifications and claims to ensure that products and cover meet client risk requirements, business objectives, and compliance standards.
  • Keep clients and insurers informed of claim developments, liaising with third parties as necessary.
  • Investigate and resolve client queries, following through to resolution and keeping all parties informed.
  • Develop strong relationships and negotiate with markets to achieve the best outcome for clients.
  • Maintain delegated authority contracts effectively and cost-efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Significant previous claims experience, preferably in liability, personal accident, or property claims.
  • Good understanding of insurance principles.
  • Strong knowledge of claims-handling processes.
  • Understanding of broking and underwriting processes.
  • Highly organized, with excellent planning skills.
  • Able to work flexibly to meet tight deadlines and targets.
  • Able to build sustainable relationships.
