JOB PURPOSEThe Facility Maintenance Specialists play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and repair of our facilities, equipment, systems, and infrastructure in both residential and public areas. This position involves executing maintenance strategies, addressing repair requirements, and working closely with the Maintenance Manager to maintain operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To deliver an exceptional guest experience through:
Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance on machinery, mechanical systems, and equipment to guarantee their effective and safe operation. Identify and rectify issues in mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Collaborate with the maintenance manager to develop and implement preventive maintenance initiatives aimed at reducing equipment downtime and prolonging their operational lifespan.
Communication and Collaboration: Address maintenance requests and emergency situations swiftly and effectively, minimizing disruptions to our operations. Partner with the Maintenance Manager to uphold maintenance standards for both staff and guests. Engage with contractors and vendors to complete maintenance projects efficiently.
Guest Assistance: Deliver friendly and prompt service to guests, addressing their specific requests or concerns with professionalism. Ensure courteous assistance to guests, customers, and employees, responding to inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols diligently, including the proper handling of tools, equipment, and chemicals, to maintain a secure working environment. Manage and complete risk assessments and method statements, ensuring all training is current and that equipment complies with site standards.
Sustainability: Actively promote and implement sustainability initiatives as directed by Escapade Silverstone.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONSExperience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or any other distinctive brand is preferred but not mandatory.

A strong, positive guest service approach is required.
Organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are crucial.
Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary.
