About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Multiskilled Craftsperson with an Electrical bias to join our Engineering and Maintenance team in Glasgow and west. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective operation of our water and waste water infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with our E&M team to deliver a proactive service, ensuring that plant and equipment are safe and working effectively.
  • Use your electrical and mechanical skills to problem-solve technical issues, thinking outside the box to fault find and diagnose.
  • Work in a time-sensitive environment, often in confined spaces, to maintain and repair critical infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with our office support team to plan and coordinate resources across the region, driving improvements and delivering an effective response to incidents.
Requirements
  • Served a full apprenticeship and hold an HNC or NC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Hold a full GB-issued Driving License (DVLA) to reach our sites, as most are not accessible by public transport.
  • Be comfortable using computer systems and online learning modules to get up to speed quickly.
  • Have an ironclad commitment to Health & Safety, protecting yourself, colleagues, and the public.
