Fitness Program Coordinator - Various Mediterranean Resorts

Location: Various Neilson Beachclubs across the Mediterranean

Reports to: Head Fitness Instructor/Activity Manager

Salary: Up to £800 PCM gross + Shared accommodation + flights, meals + great overall package

Position Overview

This role is a key position within the Fitness Team. To qualify, candidates must possess a valid First Aid certificate along with the following credentials:

  • Level 2 Fitness Instructor.
  • Level 3 Personal Training.

Additionally, candidates should be certified in at least ONE of the following areas:

  • Certified Pilates Instructor
  • Certified Yoga Teacher/Instructor - RYT 200-hour
  • Level 2 Indoor Cycling Instructor
  • Les Mills Bodypump Instructor
  • Certified Suspension Exercise Trainer
  • Certified Aqua Aerobics Instructor
  • Certified Zumba Instructor

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional fitness coaching aligned with the Neilson program.
  • Design and implement experience-based sessions tailored for both adults and children.
  • Develop lesson plans that include warm-ups and cool-downs.
  • Manage a program that includes group classes and personal training sessions.
  • Demonstrate effective techniques suitable for varying fitness levels.
  • Promote the fitness program actively to enhance participation.
  • Maintain fitness supplies and ensure they are well-stocked.
  • Assist in training new instructors, equipping them with the necessary skills to deliver the Neilson fitness program.
  • Ensure adherence to the highest standards of health and safety.
  • Advise guests on the safe use of all fitness equipment.
  • Take responsibility for the maintenance and security of all fitness equipment.
  • Ensure the fitness areas meet guest expectations at all times.
  • Organize and host social events and briefings.
  • Be adaptable and willing to assist in various duties as requested.
  • Provide excellent airport transfers, being the first point of contact for guests.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Possession of the qualifications listed above.
  • Knowledge of current fitness trends and developments.
  • Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy.
  • Familiarity with fitness equipment and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work required hours effectively.
  • Capability to deliver engaging and informative sessions.
  • Proficiency in English for instruction and conversation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
