Retail Team Leader

Deichmann is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Team Leader to join our team in a new store based in Newcastle. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Open and close the store, including cash handling and completion of associated administrative duties.
- Provide exceptional customer service, with a strong focus on product knowledge and sales.
- Lead by example, recommending and promoting complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Assist management in leading the team to achieve store sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support team members as needed, providing guidance and coaching to ensure success.
- Maintain a visually appealing store environment, ensuring accurate merchandising and product displays.
- Process stock deliveries and store transfers, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Address customer queries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Previous supervisory experience, including cash handling and banking.
- Self-motivated, with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving sales targets and KPIs.
- Methodical approach to completing daily tasks, including stock management and inventory control.
- High levels of attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Commitment to working 16 hours per week, with flexibility to work any day (Monday-Sunday).
