**Job Summary**

Deichmann is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Team Leader to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Open and close the store, including cash handling and completion of associated administrative duties.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, with a strong focus on product knowledge and sales.
  • Lead by example, recommending and promoting complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with management to drive sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Support team members as needed, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Maintain store appearance, ensuring merchandise is correctly displayed and inviting to customers.
  • Process stock deliveries and store transfers, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Address customer queries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

**Requirements**

  • Previous supervisory experience, including cash handling and banking.
  • Self-motivated, with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results.
  • High levels of attention to detail, with a methodical approach to completing daily tasks.
  • Commitment to working 20 hours per week, with flexibility to work any day (Monday-Sunday).
