About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Searchability (UK) Ltd. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure on GCP
  • Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and Linux-based systems for high availability and efficient resource utilization
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning with Ansible and Terraform
  • Monitor and enhance the performance of web servers (Apache, Nginx) and develop robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems
  • Collaborate with development teams for PHP application deployment, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure compliance with FCA regulations
Requirements
  • Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes
  • Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools, including Ansible and Terraform
  • Strong expertise in web server administration, particularly with Apache and Nginx
  • Experience with PHP application deployment and management
  • Desirable skills include experience with Microsoft Azure and knowledge of FCA regulations
