About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our growing Cloud Platforms team at Edenred PayTech. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the acceleration of our cloud migration project, contributing to the development of cloud team standards, and identifying and implementing improvements to processes, tools, and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Applications, Operations, Security, and Sys Admins, to define and deliver AWS capabilities for projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ensuring consistency and efficiency in cloud deployments.
  • Work closely with the Senior Cloud Platforms Engineer to identify and implement process improvements, tool enhancements, and standards.
  • Support cloud customers during deployment, onboarding, and ensuring security best practices within the cloud environment.
  • Maintain cloud environments in line with company policy, ensuring compliance and security.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date documentation for Terraform modules, projects, and customer onboarding.
Requirements
  • Considerable experience working in Cloud services, preferably AWS.
  • Certified AWS Cloud Practitioner & Solution Architect Associate.
  • Experience working with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, etc.
  • Experience with IaC (Terraform), creating and managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform modules.
  • Experience with Git, managing code check-in, code reviews, and maintaining a standardized repository structure.
  • Experience with configuration management tools, preferably Ansible.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Java, Python, Go, or Scripting (Groovy/Shell).
  • Experience working in DevOps and with an Agile mindset.
  • Cloud migration and project experience will be preferred.
  • Prior experience in a PCI-DSS compliant environment would be highly beneficial, or another highly regulated industry background.
  • Experience of monitoring tools, specifically through CloudWatch and Opensearch.
