Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our Events Kitchen team at Change Hospitality. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food quality and service to our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food service.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborate with the Events team to develop and execute customized menus for events and functions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and plating techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
