Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Breast Care team at North Bristol NHS Trust as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP). This role offers a unique chance to work autonomously and independently, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our team.

Main Duties
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with breast-related conditions, utilizing expert clinical judgment and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Exercise professional judgment to manage risk and ensure patient safety, while promoting a culture of open communication and transparency.
  • Ensure compliance with professional codes of conduct and work within the scope of practice, maintaining a high level of accountability and autonomy.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, influencing clinical practice and promoting quality improvement.
  • Engage in peer review and feedback, driving continuous learning and professional development.
Person Specification
  • Active professional registration with a relevant body (e.g., NMC, HCPC).
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with a sound understanding of professional priorities and issues.
  • Ability to negotiate an individual scope of practice, managing risk and upholding safety.
