Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Healthcare Specialist to join our team at North Bristol NHS Trust. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Participate in patient assessment and deliver high standards of care under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner or Assistant Practitioner.
  • Perform area-specific clinical competencies to enhance patient care and therapy.
  • Under supervision, follow individual care treatment plans and report any changes to the Registered Practitioner or Assistant Practitioner.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and maintain effective communication with patients, relatives, and members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Contribute to clear and concise patient records and documentation, adhering to national standards and trust policies and procedures.
Person Specification
  • NVQ Level 3
  • Evidence of competency in venepuncture
  • Evidence of working in an acute hospital setting
  • Evidence of competency in physiological measurements
