Tank Container Operations Manager

Royal Den Hartogh Logistics is a leading logistics service provider specializing in the transportation of liquid chemicals, gases, and dry bulk. As a growing and informal organization with over 2,100 employees worldwide, we offer a dynamic work environment with modern equipment, including more than 24,335 tank containers, 5,767 dry bulk containers, 310 tank trailers, and 700 trucks.
We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Service Coordinator to control Den Hartogh's fleet maintenance and repair activities within a European region, ensuring that the tank container fleet is maintained to a safe and legal standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and control tank container periodic testing programs
- Coordinate and control fleet inspection programs
- Manage and control third-party repair depots, ensuring the delivery of cost and quality control
- Control tank container utilization while located in a repair depot
- Ensure that the DH in-house IT system is correctly updated to reflect the actual status of tank container equipment in depot
- Assist with the control of damage surveys as required
- Provide support to SHEQ as required
- Perform estimate verification and post-repair inspections as required
- Provide technical support as required to the Global commercial team
- Manage the delivery of customer-required tank modification/preps prior to loading
Requirements:
- Have excellent knowledge and experience working within logistics
- Be flexible and agile to adapt working practices to business demands
- Be an analytical decision maker, taking into consideration a range of information sources, demonstrating financial awareness to achieve cost efficiency while delivering business improvements
- Have flexibility to travel at short notice if required
