Job Summary:

The successful Internal Sales Team Leader will manage and lead a team of internal sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize performance and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback, conducting performance evaluations and setting performance goals.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cross-selling and upselling to existing clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Analyse sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and market conditions to effectively position our products and services.
  • Provide regular reports to the board on team performance, sales forecasts, and market insights.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a sales team leader or in a similar leadership role within a sales environment.
  • Strong sales acumen and a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve success.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of sales processes and techniques, with the ability to implement and improve sales strategies.
