Job Title: Clinical Lead - Nursing Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at Prime Life. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursing staff to deliver high-quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of nursing staff to ensure delivery of excellent care standards
  • Manage the nursing services in liaison with the Care Home Manager
  • Take a leadership role for your team by ensuring staff skills are managed, supervised appropriately and rotas are in place
  • Promote, role model and maintain a high standard of nursing care
  • Ensure effective induction of new nursing staff, provide ongoing clinical supervision and mentorship
  • Work within the NMC Code and CQC standards to ensure legal compliance and best practice guidance
  • Plan, direct and deliver high-quality person-centred care through the care planning process
  • Oversee all aspects of medicine management
  • Monitor the quality of nursing care provided through effective auditing and corrective action
  • Undertake staff reviews through supervision, annual appraisal and team meetings
  • Evaluate performance of the nursing team
  • Be up to date on and follow relevant procedures contained within Prime Life policy files
  • Take an active role in training the team of nurses
  • Deputise for the Care Home Manager and take responsibility for the management of the building
  • Ensure provision of emergency treatment for all clients
