Experienced Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated veterinary nurse to join our night team at Cinque Ports Vets. As a registered veterinary nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional overnight care to our patients, working closely with our veterinary surgeons and other team members to ensure the highest standard of care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver bespoke care plans to our referral patients following orthopaedic, soft tissue, or neurosurgery.
- Work closely with the nursing team and other departments to ensure effective communication and smooth running of clinical areas.
- Administer treatment and dispense medication as instructed by the veterinary surgeon, maintaining accurate records and adhering to professional guidelines and practice policies.
- Care for in-patients, including pre-op care, monitoring, and recovery, as well as post-op care and medication.
- Participate in out-of-hours nursing rota and support with reception duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Registered veterinary nurse with a passion for ward nursing and inpatient care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to continued professional development.
