About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Paragon Veterinary Referrals. As a key member of our inpatient care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our canine and feline patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement nursing care plans for inpatients
  • Nurse intensive and critical patients in our medical and surgical wards, cattery, and ICU
  • Perform handovers to the team between shifts
  • Work collaboratively with our team to provide exceptional patient care
  • Teach and share knowledge with colleagues to enhance our team's skills and expertise
  • Contribute to infection control and maintain a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an intensive care unit setting is desirable, but not essential
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
  • Passion for delivering high-quality patient care
