Driver Refueller RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Driver Refueller to join our team at our state-of-the-art Train Maintenance Centre. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our rail fleet by driving, replenishing, and servicing trains.
Your Responsibilities:- Undertake train movements within the confines of the Train Maintenance Centre, following instructions from the Person in Charge (PIC).
- Perform comprehensive servicing of arriving trains, including replenishing diesel fuel, Ad-Blu, fresh water for toilet and galley systems, driver windscreen wash, sand hoppers, and toilet system maintenance.
- Meticulously record all servicing activities and fluid usage in the required Maintenance Management System (MMS).
- Monitor the MMS to ensure accurate recording of all work performed.
- Conduct daily checks on service spine equipment and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any defects promptly to the Refuelling Team Leader/Duty Shift Manager, documenting them in the MMS.
- Provide support to the Maintenance staff with corrective and preventative maintenance tasks, including complex fault finding and repair of Hitachi rolling stock assets.
- Contribute to the continuous development of the MMS by ensuring all servicing requirements are captured and implemented effectively.
- Ensure proper control and recording of fluid and material usage.
We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of railway operations and maintenance procedures. You should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
