Job Title: Behaviour Support Officer

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote (with occasional on-site visits)

Job Description:

GSL Education is seeking a highly skilled Behaviour Support Officer to join our team. As a Behaviour Support Officer, you will work closely with students who require additional support due to Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Develop and implement behaviour intervention plans to promote positive behaviour
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure consistent support
  • Monitor and record student progress, identifying areas for improvement
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure a collaborative approach

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN and SEMH needs
  • Strong knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality support to students
