**Job Summary**

The University of Cambridge is seeking a skilled Communications Coordinator to support the delivery of effective multi-channel communications for the Department of Zoology.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to enhance the Department's internal and external presence.
  • Manage and maintain the Department's website, including content creation and updates.
  • Develop and execute a social media plan to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Alumni Relations to develop and implement alumni relations program activities.
  • Provide administrative support for the Department's communications efforts.

**Requirements**

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Confidence in using digital platforms and experience with website content management systems.

**Working Arrangements**

This role is based in central Cambridge and the successful candidate will be expected to be in the office for a minimum of three days a week.
