We are seeking an experienced Customer Support Representative to join our dedicated team and department based in Newcastle-under-Lyme. As a key player within our industry-leading, wider global group, we provide comprehensive support services within the manufacturing/industrial industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle customer inquiries and assess requirements to generate quotations.
- Prepare and issue estimates, terms and conditions, and complete essential documentation.
- Follow up on outstanding quotes and maintain/develop ongoing customer relationships.
- Liaise with the field service team to process, coordinate, and arrange field support requests.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to increase business further.
- Assist the Sales Manager in acquiring new customers and generating sales.
- Prepare and submit invoices to customers.
- Handle internal and external telephone queries and collaborate with other departments and group companies as needed.
- Address customer complaints promptly, ensuring a satisfactory resolution.
- At least a year's experience within a similar customer service or sales administration-type position.
- Demonstrate a keen attention to detail and to ensure accuracy to the best of your ability.
- Have a good level of numeracy and excellent written and verbal communication/telephony skills.
- Be able to prioritise efficiently and effectively manage a busy workload.
- Have previous experience within a technical/industrial/manufacturing/engineering industry.
- Have a proactive attitude to learning.
We are a small team in a small office setting within the same building as the workshop. The environment is informal but still professional.
