Job Title: MBSE Configuration Management Engineer

Salary: £47,683 - £52,426
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Configuration Management Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems. As a Configuration Management Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and executing configuration management activities, ensuring effective leadership of configuration management, and contributing to the development of model-based systems engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute configuration management activities to ensure effective management of configuration items.
- Lead and manage configuration management teams to ensure successful delivery of configuration management projects.
- Develop and maintain configuration management processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize configuration management requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to configuration management teams to ensure successful delivery of configuration management projects.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) or significant experience in a related Engineering discipline.
- Experience using the MathWorks toolsets, including but not limited to MATLAB and Simulink.
- Experience within a configuration management role and experience within a virtual testing environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills are essential to support interfaces across a number of functional work streams as well as customers and stakeholders at other BAE sites including Barrow and Rochester.
