About the Role
Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is seeking a dynamic and experienced Health Visitor to take on a leadership role within our Champions Teams. As a Team Leader/Specialist Interest Lead, you will be responsible for managing a caseload and leading initiatives across the borough.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Health Visitors to deliver high-quality services to children and families in Croydon.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice to improve health outcomes for children and families.
- Manage complex situations and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of the team and the service.
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to achieve service development and improvement.
- Provide practice education and facilitation to support the development of Health Visitors.
Requirements
- SCPHN Qualification (Health Visitor) and Registered Nurse.
- At least 3 years experience as a Health Visitor.
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Practice Supervisor/Practice Assessor.
- Experience of implementing evidence-based practice, line managing staff, and managing service change.
- Significant knowledge of safeguarding policy and the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme.
