We are in search of a strategic and technically adept individual with a solid history in overseeing technology initiatives.

This role, while not strictly technical, requires a comprehensive understanding of web-based solutions and a commitment to fostering innovation.


The ideal candidate will be meticulous and organized, possessing a background in defining technical project specifications and managing projects, along with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

As part of Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a leading academic publisher and assessment organization affiliated with the University of Cambridge, you will be instrumental in the management and enhancement of our primary multi-level testing platform, Metrica.

This position necessitates close collaboration with product and technical teams to ensure platform reliability, pinpoint product enhancements, and deliver top-notch solutions.

Your responsibilities will include managing critical components of the platform, such as delivery systems, product configurations, test publication, and user acceptance testing.

  • Oversee product configurations and test publication processes
  • Lead user acceptance testing initiatives
  • Manage technology incidents to maintain platform reliability.
Your capability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize effectively will be crucial for success in this role.

We seek a technology manager who can seamlessly connect technical knowledge with business goals.
