The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the home and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children and young people.
The salary for this permanent position is up to £67,425.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Lead and direct all services within the home, ensuring high-quality performance and good outcomes.
- Implement and coordinate large, complex projects, managing multi-disciplinary teams to ensure delivery standards and enable continuous improvements in the service area.
- Team Management
- Effectively manage team members, providing a high level of support and challenge to ensure high-quality services.
- Monitor and review progress against plans and targets to ensure that training needs are identified and addressed.
- Requirements and Qualifications
- A professional Social Work qualification and education to degree level or equivalent.
- Ability to meet the registration requirements for the home through registration with Ofsted.
- Substantial experience in the delivery of Social Care, including understanding of Child Protection and safeguarding issues.
- Experience of Resource Management and staff supervision in a childcare environment.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Experience of leading complex, multi-faceted projects.
- Extensive knowledge of delivering against equality, diversity, and inclusion objectives.
