Job Title: Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Cover Supervisor to join our team at an excellent secondary school in the Stockton area.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for working in a range of classes with different subjects, handing out planned work, maintaining behavior, and keeping pupils on task throughout lessons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Monitor and report on pupil behavior and progress
  • Provide additional support to pupils as needed
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of organization and time management skills
  • Passion for working with young people
What We Offer:

Training and mentoring will be provided, including a qualification in working as a Cover Supervisor. Premier Teachers Ltd is a teacher-run agency based in Sunderland, providing a supply and permanent placement service to schools in the North East and Teesside area.
