Support Worker Opportunity for Adults with Complex Needs

We are seeking a caring and passionate Support Worker to join our Residential Service for Adults with Complex Needs in Honiton, Devon. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing specialist support to individuals with complex needs, enabling them to live happy, healthy, and meaningful lives.

About the Role
  • Provide support to individuals with complex needs, including personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks.
  • Encourage independence and support individuals to make their own choices.
  • Ensure the safety of service users and follow care plans for each individual.
  • Take service users out into the community, participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
  • Varying levels of personal care, including support with medication and mobility.
Requirements
  • No experience is required, but a caring nature and ability to engage with individuals with complex needs is essential.
  • Must have some knowledge of British Sign Language (BSL).
  • Must be resilient and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drivers are essential due to the location.
  • Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
