Position Overview

Are you interested in joining a supportive and collaborative Perinatal Mental Health Team dedicated to providing services to women facing perinatal challenges? As the Lead Clinical Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of care within the North Lincolnshire area, working closely with other Clinical Leads and management to ensure high standards of service.

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a compassionate team, utilizing your expertise to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and their families during a critical period. Your responsibilities will include leveraging your advanced clinical and leadership capabilities to offer guidance and support to the multidisciplinary team (MDT), managing complex cases, and providing specialized supervision to colleagues. You will also be instrumental in developing clinical pathways and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care through systematic audits and patient feedback reviews.

Main Duties

  • Exhibit advanced clinical skills in practice and offer support and guidance regarding service development and care delivery in collaboration with service users, caregivers, staff, and other stakeholders across various teams and regions.
  • Engage in professional networking at local and national levels, sharing insights and information with colleagues.
  • Maintain up-to-date advanced clinical knowledge and skills as part of ongoing professional development, applying new information to enhance practice and disseminate knowledge effectively.
  • Lead and facilitate complex case reviews and meetings that may involve various agencies or professional forums.
  • Provide expert advice to MDT colleagues concerning client care and treatment.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • Thorough understanding of relevant policies, legislation, and their application in clinical and service contexts.
  • Evidence of impactful project work demonstrating advanced communication and planning skills.
  • Membership in a recognized professional body with current professional registration.
  • Comprehensive understanding of clinical practices, standards, and audits within the designated clinical area.

Desirable

  • Advanced understanding of managerial and leadership aspects within the service area.
  • Expert knowledge of clinical practices, standards, and audits relevant to the clinical field.
  • Willingness to undertake or possess a recognized non-medical prescribing qualification, if necessary.
