Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in the Brent Borough. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a Year 4 class, supporting a child with Autism (ASD) on a 1:1 basis. You will also provide general support to the rest of the class as a Teaching Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a child with Autism (ASD) on a 1:1 basis
  • Provide general support to the rest of the class as a Teaching Assistant
  • Work effectively as part of a large team
  • Be willing to learn and adapt to new situations

Requirements:

  • Good record of academics (degree, A level, GCSEs)
  • Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Experience in a previous SEN role or personal experience with SEN
  • Registered DBS or willingness to apply for one
