We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Doctor in Psychiatry to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing and managing patients from the Auchinlea catchment area, working closely with consultants, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with mental health conditions, including those requiring domiciliary visits, Court Reports, and Mental Health Act/Adults with Incapacity Act work.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative and evidence-based practices in psychiatry.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Full GMC Registration and a license to practice.
  • Minimum of 10 years' medical work experience, with at least 6 years in a relevant specialty doctor and/or closed SAS grades.
  • Equivalent years' experience in a relevant specialty from other medical grades, including from overseas.
