We are seeking a skilled Senior Structural Engineer to become a vital member of our team at Leonardo. In this role, you will have the opportunity to transform your innovative designs into reality across a variety of products, from the initial concept phase through to installation and operational flight.

As part of our dynamic Structures Team, you will collaborate with various engineering departments and key stakeholders to create advanced structural design solutions for our extensive product lineup, which includes traditional helicopters, tilt-rotor aircraft, and unmanned aerial systems. This position provides the chance to engage in projects that span multiple regions.

  • Develop and execute complex design tasks in partnership with diverse engineering teams
  • Lead teams of Structural Engineers to produce high-quality design outcomes
  • Employ CATIA V5 or similar design software effectively
  • Possess a solid understanding of sheet metal fabrication, machining, and composite design principles
  • Familiarity with airworthiness standards such as MAA, EASA, or FAA
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and deliver innovative solutions
  • Plan, define project requirements, and carry out tasks within demanding timelines and budgets
