GenesisCare UK is looking for an Exercise Clinic Lead Physiotherapist to become a vital part of our advanced cancer care facility. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing tailored exercise regimens for patients undergoing cancer therapies. This position offers a unique chance to influence the growth of our clinical offerings and enhance our Exercise Medicine program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the Exercise Medicine Service for all patients referred to the program.
- Lead the oncology physiotherapy services for outpatient care.
- Perform thorough initial evaluations and develop customized exercise plans.
- Supervise the Personal Trainer within the team.
- Collaborate closely with the Centre Leader and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient support.
- Promote the service through community engagement initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of service delivery in accordance with organizational policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience focused on Oncology.
- Proven experience in clinical environments and in a teaching or supervisory capacity.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent clinical reasoning and communication abilities.
- A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices.
Educational Background:
- BSc Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
- HCPC registration is required.
- A specialized interest in oncology and rehabilitation is preferred.
