The ideal candidate will possess experience in general practice and a comprehensive understanding of various nursing disciplines. This role involves working autonomously under the guidance of registered nurses and collaborating with our esteemed team, which includes three nurses, a healthcare assistant, and a phlebotomist. We are particularly interested in candidates who are proficient in performing cervical smears and basic wound care, as these skills are essential for this diverse and engaging position.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse Associate, you will be a responsible professional prioritizing patient care, ensuring that nursing services are personalized, secure, and empathetic. Your role will include:
- Delivering patient-centered care that promotes health and prevents illness.
- Supporting individuals in enhancing and sustaining their mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
- Providing compassionate and effective care while continuously monitoring the health status of patients.
- Engaging in ongoing assessments and recognizing when referrals to other professionals are necessary.

Qualifications
Essential:
- Completion of a two-year Foundation Degree from a Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) accredited institution.
- Current registration with the NMC as a Nurse Associate.
Desirable:
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Participation in reflective practice and supervision.
- Understanding of evidence-based practice.
- Knowledge of basic physiology, vital signs, and nutritional needs.
- Experience in mentoring or supporting less experienced staff.
- Evidence of recent professional development or self-directed learning.
Experience

- Experience in general practice, including skills in cervical smear testing and wound care.
