Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Generalist to join our team at Michael Page Human Resources. As an HR Generalist, you will provide essential HR support to our clients and manage the full HR life cycle, including employee relations, absence and performance management, management development, recruitment and selection, and updating and implementing new policies and procedures.

About the Role

  • As the HR Generalist, you will report directly to the Managing Director and provide HR advice and guidance on a range of HR issues, supporting managers and staff, ensuring consistency and fairness at all times.
  • You will support the recruitment process, from advertising roles to onboarding new staff.
  • You will manage staff inductions and exit interviews.
  • You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • You will assist with the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • You will manage employee relations, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, and grievances.
  • You will support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • You will contribute to the promotion of company culture and values.

Requirements

  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Previous experience of operating in an HR Generalist capacity.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in HR software and MS Office.
