Job Description

As a Senior Design Consultant at Contechs, you will be responsible for applying engineering principles to the design and development of components and assemblies, ensuring effective material and manufacturing process selection.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop designs with considerations for ease of assembly and manufacturability, optimizing the production process.
  • Identify potential risks in design and development and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Create, evaluate, and apply relevant analysis and testing methods to ensure design effectiveness and reliability.
  • Work closely with the supply chain to ensure alignment with design requirements and manufacturing capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years in automotive design engineering, with practical, hands-on experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Essential experience with CREO software.
  • Understanding of motorcycle whole vehicle design and knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
  • Previous experience in the motorcycle industry is desirable but not required.
