While Severn Trent is widely recognized for its water and waste services, our Transport team plays a crucial role in maintaining a fleet of vehicles that includes everything from company cars to specialized transport units. We ensure that our teams and resources are transported safely and efficiently every day.
We are currently in search of a Fleet Maintenance Scheduler to join our team who will oversee the coordination of operational and maintenance needs for our fleet, as well as scheduling services with our workshops and external partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, you will manage the comprehensive scheduling of fleet maintenance activities, including servicing, inspections, and compliance with regulatory standards.
In addition to scheduling, you will ensure compliance by monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and providing administrative support by addressing inquiries from stakeholders.
You will be responsible for maintaining the fleet maintenance schedule to meet customer, regulatory, and business requirements.
As a proficient scheduler, you will optimize daily operations across our workshop facilities through effective scheduling, delivering a seamless service to our clients.
Building strong relationships is essential for responding effectively to operational needs. You will send reminders and follow up on any missed appointments.
This role is based in our Coventry headquarters, Monday to Friday, easily accessible for commuting.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Candidates with prior experience in Planning or Scheduling, particularly in fleet management, will excel in this role, as we aim to develop a future-focused schedule for our fleet.
You will have a strong commitment to compliance and will encourage the team to adhere to fleet inspection protocols.
Attention to detail is crucial – accuracy is key in this role.
Familiarity with CPC regulations is advantageous but not mandatory.
