Position Overview

In this role, you will provide essential nursing leadership and guidance, ensuring the efficient operation of the clinical site. Collaborating closely with clinical site managers and all healthcare personnel, you will address clinical issues and respond to emergencies, delivering clinical direction and support to your colleagues. Your focus will be on maintaining exemplary standards of patient care across the organization at all times. You will proactively oversee daily patient flow and address any internal delays to facilitate timely care. Additionally, you will serve as the primary management contact for fire, facilities, and security incidents outside of standard working hours, as well as manage Major Incidents and Serious Untoward Incidents during these times.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the management of the clinical site, ensuring effective patient flow and coordination of clinical operations in collaboration with clinical and managerial teams.
- Ensure timely communication regarding capacity and patient movement through the facility, optimizing the use of all designated clinical resources.
- Manage the patient experience to guarantee a service that is safe, efficient, and tailored to their care needs.
- Foster strong communication within the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient services.
- Collaborate with the Integrated Discharge Team to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Work closely with General Managers, Deputy Heads of Nursing, and Matrons to escalate issues promptly and implement actions that enhance patient care.
- Liaise with the On-Call Manager outside of regular hours to ensure timely escalation of issues while maintaining overall responsibility for resolving challenges.
