Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in securing major investments from diverse funding sources, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and other private entities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve ambitious financial goals.
  • Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with potential donors, building strong partnerships based on trust and shared values.
  • Prepare compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the impact of ASU Enterprise Partners' work.
  • Manage a portfolio of major gift prospects, conducting thorough research and analysis to identify opportunities for engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of fundraising initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program, or willingness to enroll in a bachelor's degree program.
  • Four (4) to six (6) years of proven success in higher education advancement, with a demonstrated track record of securing major investments.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and experience managing events and complex activities to support development objectives.
  • International on-the-ground development experience in Europe and/or globally is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
  • Command of English.
  • Fluency in another European language is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of a foreign culture and an international outlook.
  • Experience working with Salesforce and Workday.
