Manufacturing Operations Supervisor required to join a reputable Manufacturer specializing in the metals sector.

The ideal candidate will oversee all facets of production, from receiving materials to dispatching finished goods, and should possess a strong background in the metals industry.

Position Overview

Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with all internal departments to ensure timely and complete delivery of the production schedule.
- Efficiently utilizing available labor and materials within the production area.
- Maintaining product quality through robust quality management systems, procedures, and standard operating processes.

Additionally, you will:
- Manage departmental costs and expenditures within set budgets while adapting to the evolving needs of the business, regulatory requirements, and customer policies.

Best Practices
- Ensure optimal workplace organization and conduct 5S audits across departments.
- Advocate for best practices in all production areas to enhance effectiveness, control, and efficiency.

- Actively oversee health and safety measures, promoting safe working practices to ensure the safety and well-being of all personnel while complying with statutory requirements.

Position Requirements

- Proven experience in a similar role
- Background in the metals industry
- Experience with roll forming is highly advantageous
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance

Position Remuneration

- Full-time, permanent role
- Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 (early finish on Fridays)
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Generous annual leave of 33 days, including bank holidays
- Pension scheme contribution up to 6%
