About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Parkstone, Poole. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support individuals to engage in activities that promote their physical and mental health, such as exercise, socialising, and hobbies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for individuals.

Requirements

  • A UK/EU driving license is essential for this role, as you will be required to drive Motability vehicles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals and their families.
  • A passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism, with a commitment to promoting their rights and dignity.
